Brief: This session will explore notions of (online) Teacher Presence and a number of practical approaches to planning and implementing Teacher Presence.
Context: Teacher Presence has been shown through both literature and research and the lived experience of the OLM implementation at CSU as one of the most meaningful and impactful aspects of teaching and learning for students. In this session we will discuss notions of teacher presence in the online teaching and learning environment and outline some practical ways to both plan for and effectively implement a teacher presence that suits the needs of both teachers and students.
